fields of counseling, psychotherapy, medication management,
divorce mediation and coaching that set the center apart from other
area providers. "The three LIH
founders - Trip Hartigan, Kathy Caprino and myself - bring
expertise from very different backgrounds compared to those in a
typical center," says Gary Pearson, founding member of LIH. "As
former executives, we are able to draw from our previous experience
in law, business, marketing and the performing arts. As parents, we
each understand the pressures of family life today. As therapists,
we share a belief in the human spirit to overcome
obstacles. These qualities are all beneficial in helping
individuals and families cope as they resolve their most pressing
issues". All clinicians at
the center are committed to working collaboratively with our
clients to facilitate the achievement of emotional, behavioral, and
spiritual health, growth and balance. Our approach is to provide an
