Living in Harmony offers one of Fairfield County's only anger management programs designed especially for women.  This supportive program will help you to reduce the level, frequency and intensity of anger epsiodes and restore balance to your relationships, family life and work. 

Cost of the six-session group is $500.  Individual and group anger management programs are available. Please call for details.

Do you experience frequent episodes of anger?

What has your anger cost you?

  • Has it harmed a personal relationship?
  • Has it led to difficulties at work?
  • Have you had health problems as a result of your anger?
  • When you do become angry, is it more intense or does it last longer than other peoples anger?

Two experienced male therapists from Living in Harmony, LLC will lead a group for men seeking to reduce the level, frequency and intensity of anger episodes.  

Cost:  for the 6 weeks is $450

FAMILY IN THE 21ST CENTURY

A six-part series on the family in today's world

Sponsored by Living in Harmony, LLC

 

Beginning in October, 2005, this FREE  multi-disciplinary, panel-format series will focus on issues related to today's family, including parenting, communication, discipline, self-esteem, raising healthy children, and fostering strong family foundations for facing today's world.

 

OBJECTIVE:

 

To provide the residents of Fairfield County –anyone raising or caring for a family - with information and resources through direct contact with local experts who will address concerns and issues about today’s family.  Panel members are drawn from the disciplines of education, mental health, medicine, religion, law and the media. The series aims to provide a broad spectrum of expertise and perspectives to assist individuals and families with their current issues.

FORMAT:

 

There is no cost for the series, and advanced registration is encouraged.  Each program will involve a brief introductory presentation by one of the panel members, followed by a discussion aimed at eliciting questions from the audience. Questions will be facilitated by a moderator and will be addressed by various members of the panel.  Each program will run for two hours.

Topics will address current, family-related concerns of the community, including:

If you are new to the community, the involvement of local industry "experts" on the panel offers you a place to begin if support is needed.  For all attendees, the program fosters relationships within the community, and provides an ever-growing network of support and knowledge.  Organizations represented include:  Bay Street Pediatrics, Steinbrecher & Partners, Living in Harmony, Renfrew Center, Esteemed Woman’s Foundation, UConn, a broad spectrum of faiths and many others.
